African Sunrise

Sunrise from the back porch this morning...

If you look very closely, you will see two very befuddled ducks in the foreground who was NOT very much impressed with the paparazzi creeping up on them before they even had time to brush their teeth or comb their hair!

A beautiful start to the day!

  1. Isn't it so nice that the start and the end of a day is differant than it is all day long? It always feels like such a treat to see it. Your pictures are so pretty! ;D

There's a saying here in the Maritimes (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island) : 'A red sky at night, a sailor's delight' A red sky in the morning, a sailor takes warning.'
