A Foal, A Foal.....A COLOURED Foal!!

This morning Cules was up before me and went outside to see if any new lambs have arrived...yes, lambing time again!! He checked on the dogs and the poultry and  as I was busy making the bed etc I could see him doing all these "normal" everyday checks...he was forgetting to check up on the pony mare due any time now,she has been "bagging" up for three days now so I brought her in a few days ago. I called out to him through the kitchen window to go and check up on her and sure as ice cream melts in the sun, seconds later he came running round the corner of the stables shouting "a foal,a foal, a COLOURED foal!!!"  Well that's a first for us..not surprising as the Mommy is also coloured.




I feel a little less wobbly if I press my butt against the wall..

Hmmm, he never searched too long for the milk source....

    No matter how wobbly they never seem to have trouble finding the milk.

    Wow. He is perfect. I love his dark head and his sweet markings. You must be very proud and I hope you share LOTS of photos with us! Awe, my kids will love these photos. :)

    Hi Annette,thank you for the award! Yes, I am looking for a name...any ideas?? Keeping in mind that he will be a children's pony,he shouldn't grow bigger than 14hh...Now to try and copy the award and put it on my sidebar..you'all make these things look so easy!!
